Welcome to LessPhoto (the "app"). Protecting your personal information is very important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the app. Please read it carefully before use.
Collection and Use of Information
LessPhoto is a local app whose core features can be used without account registration or an internet connection. We follow the principle of data minimization and limit access to and processing of information as much as possible.
- Photo Library Content: When you use photo-cleaning features, you need to grant the app access to your photo library. All analysis, comparison, cleaning, and related processing of photos and videos are completed locally on your device. We do not collect, upload, store, or share any of your photo library content. If you deny access, core cleaning features cannot be used.
- Local Information: Your avatar, nickname, cleaning preferences, membership status, free usage count, and similar information are stored only locally on your device to provide in-app features. Such information will not be uploaded to any server.
- Device and Security Information: To ensure local functions operate properly and to prevent abuse of free usage counts or abnormal operations, the app may generate and store necessary device-related identifiers, usage status, or verification information locally on your device. This information is used only for local checks and will not be uploaded to any server.
- Purchase Information: In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. The app reads purchase status through system capabilities provided by Apple to activate or restore membership benefits. We do not process your payment information or store purchase receipts through any server.
- Anonymous Analytics Data: To improve the app experience and stability, we use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous feature usage, operating status, and error diagnostic data. This data does not include photo library content, account details, purchases, or payment information, and is not used to identify or track you.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or actively share your personal information. We will not provide your information to third parties except in the following circumstances:
- With your explicit consent;
- As required by laws, regulations, or competent authorities;
- As necessary for Apple to complete system services such as in-app purchases, refunds, subscription management, or purchase restoration;
- As necessary to provide the anonymous analytics service described above;
- To protect the legitimate rights and interests of us, you, or others.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access, modify, or clear your locally stored avatar and nickname in the app
- Manage photo library permissions in your device system settings
- Manage App Store subscriptions and purchases through system settings
- Delete locally stored app data by uninstalling the app. Please note that purchase records under your Apple ID are managed by Apple, and uninstalling the app will not delete your App Store purchase records
Protection of Minors
The app is not directed to children under the age of 13. The app does not provide an account system, upload photo-library content, or actively collect children's identity information.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The interpretation and performance of this Policy are governed by the laws of the country or region where we, the developer of LessPhoto, have our principal place of business. If any dispute arises from this Policy, both parties should first seek to resolve it through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, you agree to submit the dispute to a court with jurisdiction in the country or region where we have our principal place of business.
Policy Updates
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. If internet-based features, accounts, cloud sync, or similar functions are added in the future, we will update this Policy accordingly.
